Binaural Beats
Play two slightly different tones — one per ear. Your brain perceives a beat equal to the difference, entraining to that frequency.
Use stereo headphones for binaural beats to work. Not recommended for people with epilepsy or seizure disorders.

How it works
Your left ear hears one tone (e.g. 200 Hz) and your right ear hears a slightly different tone (e.g. 210 Hz). Your brain perceives a 10 Hz beat — an Alpha wave — even though no 10 Hz sound was played. This is called the frequency-following response.
